INGREDIENTS
~ 1 Package of Yeast
~ 1 Table Spoon of White Sugar
~ 1/2 Cup of Warm Water
~ 1/2 Cup of Hot Milk
~ 1 Table Spoon of Butter
~ 1 Egg
~ 3 Cups of Flour
~ 1 Tea Spoon of Salt
~ 1 Cup of Shredded Cheese
Directions
1. In a small bowl dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until creamy (approx. 10 min.)
2. Heat milk in small saucepan until it bubbles. Remove from stove and add the butter. Stir until melted. Let cool, until lukewarm.
3. In a large bowl combine yeast and milk mixtures, egg, 2 cups of flour, and salt. Beat well. Add the remaining flour, a 1/2 cup at a time, stirring well after each is added. Add 3/4 cup of cheese.
4. Knead dough for 8 min. Let stand for 10 min.
5. Put in greased loaf pan(s). Top loaves with cheese. Let stand for 20 min. with a damp cloth over them. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
6. Bake at 400 degrees, for 20-25 min.
